We exist to make Jesus known.

Cornerstone Church of Christ believes that advancing God’s Kingdom doesn’t come through new ways of doing church, but through the ancient way — faithful preaching and contextualizing the unchanging gospel within a changing culture. Cornerstone teaches faith in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, as the only way to eternal life.

At Cornerstone Church of Christ, you will likely find us sharing a meal together, laughing, praying for each other, and encouraging each other. It’s called fellowship. it’s what we do! We couldn’t do anything less, we love each other. Come join us and see what it’s all about. We would love to have you!

At Cornerstone Church of Christ, we realize that the world around us is in need. God gave us hands, we use them to reach out. We gladly serve the community around us and try to be the hands and feet of Jesus, where we are. We go where His feet would go, we help where His hands would help. He reached out to each of us – we can’t help but reach out on behalf of him.

Cornerstone Church of Christ is a family of fellowship

We ‘re glad that you have stopped by to learn what we’re all about. We hope you see our passion for Jesus and His gospel. He is the only reason that we do what we do — preaching, children’s ministry, outreach, and even singing.

If you were to ask us to describe ourselves in one sentence, we would say, “We’re a gospel centered, city focused, church community.”

These three elements create the DNA for us to live all of life for the glory of Jesus. As a Gospel Centered Church, you will notice that we believe the gospel is so much more than a starting point for people. The gospel applies to all of life, and it shapes the very way in which we live life together with our family, friends, city, and the rest of the world. We want to view and live all of life through the gospel, which is the truth for all of us.

What we believe

This world is not our home; we are sojourners here. In line with that thought, the following encapsulates our beliefs for the Church.

We, the members of the Cornerstone Church of Christ, believe that the whole Bible is true and therefore, God in His great love for us, has provided forgiveness of sins for all who follow His whole plan of salvation as found in scripture:

~ Hear – Romans 10:17

~ Believe – John 3:18, Hebrews 11:6

~ Repent – Acts 3:19, Romans 6:1-7

~ Confess – Romans 10:9-10

~ Be baptized for the forgiveness of sins and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:21, Acts 22:16, 1 Peter 3:21, Acts 2:38-41, Romans 8:9

~ Be faithful for the rest of your life – Revelation 2:10, Hebrews 10:23-36

~Love Christ–Matthew 22:36-40, 1st Corinthians 16:22, John 14:15, 1st Corinthians 13:13

~ Love the Church which is the Body of Christ – John 13:34-35

~ Love the truth – 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

– We believe that Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us and will return to judge all mankind, taking His people to an everlasting heavenly home, but sending all others to everlasting punishment in hell. Matthew 25:31-46, John 14:3

–We believe that because of the severity of the nature of salvation vs. condemnation it is the duty of the Church to continually be about evangelism, pleading with people to leave a life of sin and to come take the free gift of the water of life. Revelation 22:17, Matthew 28:16-20
